Grammy award winner, Tony, Emmy and Oliver nominated arranger, composer, producer, conductor and trumpeter, Steve Sidwell, has featured on numerous albums, television shows, advertising campaigns and films with his distinctive and innovative orchestrations and compositions.

Television commissions include the 79th Academy Awards, the London 2012 Olympics Closing Ceremony, the 2015 Rugby World Cup Opening Ceremony, the BBC Music Awards 2014 & 2015, ITV Tonight at the London Palladium, BBC Live at Edinburgh Castle, The Ryder Cup Gala 2014, Robbie Williams Live at The Palladium, Bruce Forsyth Hall of Fame, BBC The Voice Series 1 & 2, Robbie Williams Live At The Albert Hall, The Robbie Williams TV Special, Children In Need Rocks, the BBC Olympic Handover Concert, Victoria Wood’s Christmas Special, Victoria’s Empire, Chris Moyle’s Big Quiz Night, Ant & Dec and the opening of The Dubai World Cup.

Advertising campaigns include the award winning Honda Choir, EE, Honda Illusions, Stella Artois, Guinness, M&S Christmas, Virgin Holidays, Nokia, Heineken, Orange, Bounty, Dulux, Lotto, Walkers, McDonalds, Supernoodles, Coca Cola and Capital Radio.

Theatre credits include orchestrating Beautiful: The Musical for which Steve was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Orchestration. Steve’s 2015 Grammy Award was for the Best Musical Theatre Album for the original cast album Beautiful: The Musical. He also orchestrated We Will Rock You, Made In Dagenham, Our House and Daddy Cool, Viva La Diva, Dancing On Ice Live Tour and Katherine Jenkins Believe show.

Steve has also contributed to film including tracks for Baz Lurhman’s Moulin Rouge and Romeo & Juliet, Bridget Jones’ Diary, Teachers Pet, Spongebob Squarepants, Finding Nemo, Mona Lisa Smiles and 101 Dalmations 2.

Album credits include the orchestration and conducting of Robbie Williams’ multi-platinum selling album Swing Both Ways and Swing When Your Winning. Recent projects include arranging and conducting George Michael, Aretha Franklin, Elvis Presley (Symphonic), Udo Lindenberg, Helens Fisher, Sarah Brightman, Jeff Beck, Seal, Brian May and Dame Shirley Bassey.
